Shailendra Singh was formerly divisional head of journalism in the School of Language, Arts and Media at the University of the South Pacific and a former editor of The Review news magazine. He has researched and written widely on Fiji corruption and governance issues for Inter Press Service and other news media. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Queensland.
